Online silent auction planned for 2026

Friends of the Muskoka Watershed is reaching out with a request that you support our upcoming online silent auction, For the Lakes You Love, taking place in 2026. It was originally planned for the May long weekend period but it is now on hold until later in 2026.
Instead of our Arts & Experience Raffle, this year we are hosting an online silent auction For the Lakes We Love in 2026. We are using GalaBid, a well-known site trusted by thousands of charities all over the world since 2011.
The For the Lakes You Love silent auction will run online for 11 days, helping us raise vital funds while kicking off cottage season by giving back. Auction items may include art, experiences, items and gift cards. All proceeds directly support our watershed protection work.
We would be honoured if you would consider donating an item, service, or experience to the auction. Donated items receive recognition throughout the auction,to help connect your generosity to the protection of the lakes and landscapes our community values so deeply.
We would like to share your donation on social media, in our newsletter and on the auction website. If interested, we’d also love a six to seven word sentence explaining why you support Friends of the Muskoka Watershed’s work. (“My kids swim in the lake, i care about the fish, water is life, i live for our lakes, the environment matters…. that we would include with the notice of your donation.
